Port Chicago is a feature-length screenplay by Lori Lyle. In 1943, African American sailor George Little enlists hoping to serve overseas, only to be assigned the dangerous, segregated work of loading munitions at Port Chicago, California. When a catastrophic explosion rocks the base, George must confront racism, injustice, and the cost of courage in one of the worst stateside disasters of World War II.
